Historic Coos Bay Manor Open House 2-5 p.m., Coos Bay Manor Bed & Breakfast, 955 S. Fifth St., Coos Bay. The 1910 original craftsman-style home was built for the Nedrum family. Very few changes have been made. Admission is by donation with proceeds going to the Kids’ HOPE Center.

Make N Take, Tue. Dec. 15, Highland Elementary School, in Reedsport

Oregon Coast Community Action is planning Make N Take for Dec. 15 at Highland Elementary School, in Reedsport.

The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Organizer Chris Marsh said children and families of children who are pre-K to sixth grade are invited to a free dinner, cookie decorating and engaging in craft making at the multiple booths put on by community members.
