CONFLUENCE – FEBRUARY 12th & 13th

A wine, beer, seafood and music festival. This award-winning festival offers different styles of music throughout the two day event along with many vendors. MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATIONS – MAY:
OREGON INVITATIONAL CHAINSAW SCULPTING CHAMPIONSHIP – FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND

Reedsport is the Chainsaw Sculpting Capital of Oregon and this event is not only fun for Dad but the whole family. Chainsaw artists come from around the world to take part in this event. Quick carves and carving auctions take place daily. Food and crafts are also included.

FIREWORKS ON THE BAY – JULY 4TH

One of the most spectacular fireworks displays on the coast. Visitors and locals alike grab a spot, fire up the barbecue or picnic and settle in for a night of fun.

DUNEFEST – JULY 27th through JULY 31, 2016

The premiere ATV sand event in the country! Ovation Award winner of “The Best Sporting Event in Oregon”. DuneFest has it all; moto cross racing, sand drags, freestyle shows, charity auction and much more. Vendor row offers ATV’s, clothing, crafts, ATV accessories and food. DuneFest offers a kid’s safe ATV riding area and a free shuttle bus service from Winchester Bay.

OLD TIME FIDDLERS JAMBOREE – AUGUST

The Oregon Old Time Fiddlers District 5 hosts more than 100 musicians and enthusiastic audiences from across the Pacific Northwest. Fiddlers, guitars, banjos and mandolins play Country, Cajun, Swing, Bluegrass, Folk, Waltzes and old time tunes. Open jam sessions all day long and concerts at the Grange Hall daily at 6pm. Admission by donation. Sunday Gospel show closes the event.

KOOL COASTAL NIGHTS – AUGUST

Hot cars on the Kool Coastal Friday features the Burnout. Loud cars and lots of smoke! Saturday more than 300 cars are powdered and primed for the Show n’ Shine and Parade of Champions. And there is a harbor cruise for those nostalgic for the 50’s.

CRAB BOUNTY HUNT – SEPTEMBER

Catch a crab and it may be worth a $1,000.00. During the month of September in Winchester Bay, a cash prize makes crabbing very rewarding. Crabs are tagged with numbered metal tags. One of those numbers is sealed in the vault of Umpqua Bank. Register that number before the end of the contest and win the cash prize!

S.T.E.P. SALMON DERBY – LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Daily prizes for biggest salmon sponsored by Gardiner/Reedsport S.T.E.P. (Salmon-Trout-Enhancement-Program). This event is timed to coincide with the fall Chinook salmon run. Local tackle shops have registration and rules.

ART BY THE BAY – LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Artists share what they make and how they make it. It’s the best beach party on the Oregon Coast and a great way to wrap up the summer! More than 40 booths present artists form far and wide. Each artist not only has art for sale but works on pieces during the festival, showing visitors how it is made and what makes it special. See artists create stained glass, weaving, steel, silver jewelry, pottery, ceramics, glassblowing, stepping stones, wood working and gem artistry. There are authors, wineries, music and much more as well as kid’s crafts, face painting, games and surprises.

HOLIDAY BAZAAR – FIRST WEEKEND IN DECEMBER

Craftspeople from across the state present their wares at the Community Center in Reedsport. Kids can visit with Santa Claus and you can vote for your favorite gingerbread house.
